# TwitterScore

> TwitterScore (https://twitterscore.io) rates and analyzes crypto & NFT Twitter/X accounts. Every tracked account gets a **TwitterScore from 0 to 1000** that reflects how influential it is in the crypto space. The score is computed from the *quality* of an account's followers — venture capitals, crypto projects, founders, exchanges and influencers — not from raw follower count.

TwitterScore helps investors and researchers: find early-stage projects ("GEMs") when significant accounts start following them, spot undervalued coins and NFTs, see which notable accounts began following a project and when, and avoid scams (projects with many followers but none of real significance in crypto).

## Key concepts
- **TwitterScore**: a 0–1000 score for a Twitter/X account, based on the influence of its crypto followers (higher = more influential community).
- **Smart Followers**: an account's most valuable followers (VCs, crypto projects, founders, exchanges, influencers).
- **Smart Follows**: what significant accounts are newly following — an early signal of partnerships and investments.
- **Smart Mentions**: what significant accounts are mentioning.
