A separate Virginia class action filed in December 2025 alleges Drizzy, Ross, Stake and others used Stake-related funds to pay for automated music streams and alleges RICO and consumer-protection violations, per The Guardian, which also reported that no one has been criminally charged over those allegations and that Stake dismissed the claims as nonsense. Both suits remain civil allegations and no criminal charges have been filed.
