About Minima's Twitter Score
Minima is a Layer-1 blockchain protocol designed to run a complete node on every participating device, targeting embedded systems, Edge AI and DePIN applications. Minima's Twitter Score is 24 out of 1000 as of August 2026, ranking #41,342 (top 10%) among 483,944 tracked accounts.
Minima was co-founded by Hugo Feiler and Paddy Cerri, who serve as CEO and Chief Blockchain Architect respectively. The protocol is built around a cooperative Tx-PoW mechanism in which each user contributes a small amount of proof of work that is then combined into blocks, removing the need for dedicated mining infrastructure. Minima uses the UTxO model alongside its own Turing-complete KISS VM scripting language for smart contracts, and natively supports custom tokens whose transactions are handled identically to native protocol transactions.
Minima raised a $2.5 million investment round led by Blockchange Ventures in December 2020, followed by a $6.5 million Series A in 2021 with participation from GSR, DEX Ventures, AGE Crypto Asset Investment Fund, SMO Capital, and Vinny Lingham. Additional backers include Big Brain Holdings, Blockchain Coinvestors, and MH Ventures.
Minima is affiliated with Arm through the Arm Flexible Access program, which gives the project access to Arm intellectual property, tools and training to develop the proposed Minima Chip, a purpose-built component intended to embed full blockchain-node capabilities into industrial and electronic devices on the Arm compute platform. The protocol operates with no centralized servers controlling access, with users connecting directly through peer nodes. Minima also runs an ecosystem grants program supporting DePIN solutions, developer tools and MiniDapps built on the network.
