Minima was co-founded by Hugo Feiler and Paddy Cerri, who serve as CEO and Chief Blockchain Architect respectively. Minima is affiliated with Arm through the Arm Flexible Access program, which gives the project access to Arm intellectual property, tools and training to develop the proposed Minima Chip, a purpose-built component intended to embed full blockchain-node capabilities into industrial and electronic devices on the Arm compute platform. The protocol operates with no centralized servers controlling access, with users connecting directly through peer nodes. Minima also runs an ecosystem grants program supporting DePIN solutions, developer tools and MiniDapps built on the network.
