The chain is designed to keep payload data off-chain while anchoring cryptographic proofs on-ledger, keeping the architecture lightweight. In May 2026, XYO announced an AI SDK providing tooling for anchoring proofs of real-world information to XYO Layer One.
XYO powers COIN, a mobile data-node platform through which participants contribute real-world data to its Proof of Location network and earn rewards redeemable for XYO tokens, other digital assets, or physical items.
