Powerhouse (@PowerhouseDAO) — Twitter Score 16 out of 1000

Powerhouse is an open-source infrastructure and coordination tooling project that builds local-first software for decentralized organizations. Powerhouse's Twitter Score is 16 out of 1000 as of October 2026, ranking #61,078 among 493,668 tracked accounts.

Powerhouse was founded by Wouter Kampmann and originated from the MakerDAO Sustainable Ecosystem Scaling Core Unit, which MakerDAO governance ratified in May 2021. That unit focused on removing barriers between decentralized workforce, capital and work, and the team subsequently transitioned toward Powerhouse as an independent ecosystem actor. Powerhouse previously worked with MakerDAO on operational transparency, expense reporting standards, reporting workflows and implementation of MakerDAO's Endgame operational restructuring.

Powerhouse's current stack is designed to coordinate people, code, capital, payments, governance, data and workflows across open networks, combining local-first software, decentralized technologies and open-source AI. The project maintains two primary products: Achra, a coordination hub for global teams that supports work scoping, service-provider selection, stablecoin payments and results tracking, and Vetra, an open-source application platform and infrastructure layer for sovereign organizational data and workflows. Vetra can be self-hosted or deployed through managed cloud services, and supports wallet login, cryptographic verification and optional blockchain anchoring of signed operation logs. Achra grew out of Powerhouse's work with Sky and continues to operate within the Sky ecosystem.

Powerhouse publishes actively maintained open-source software under the @powerhousedao package namespace, including document-engineering and reactor API packages. Its published framework for Scalable Network Organizations combines onchain governance with offchain operational entities, with Achra serving as the coordination platform and Vetra as the builder stack. Powerhouse has 903 followers as of October 2026 and has published 484 posts. Powerhouse has been mentioned by 5 accounts a total of 22 times.
