ZKasino is a blockchain casino and on-chain gaming project that became the subject of a large-scale fraud investigation after allegedly misappropriating more than 30 million US dollars in cryptocurrency from investors worldwide. ZKasino's Twitter Score is 42 out of 1000 as of July 2026, ranking #25,186 (top 5%) among 531,432 tracked accounts.
ZKasino went live on April 20, 2024 and drew over 10,515 ETH from more than 10,000 investors, who were told their funds would be returned within 30 days. According to the FIOD, the Dutch fiscal intelligence and investigation service, the smart contract was structured in a way that suggested no such return was ever intended. An on-chain transaction showed ZKasino moving the entire 10,515 ETH sum into Lido staking rather than returning it to investors.
ZKasino had previously claimed, in a March 2024 post on X, to have closed a Series A round at a valuation of 350 million US dollars, citing MEXC and Big Brain Holdings as backers. Big Brain Holdings subsequently clarified that it had not invested in the project. ZKasino was formerly affiliated with Binance.
On April 29, 2024, FIOD arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the investigation on suspicion of fraud, embezzlement and money laundering. Authorities seized more than 11.4 million euros in assets, including real estate, a luxury vehicle and cryptocurrencies. ZKasino has 68,165 followers as of July 2026 and has published 261 posts.
