Humanity is a decentralized identity and proof-of-humanity protocol that uses palm recognition, zero-knowledge proofs, and Human ID to verify unique human identity on-chain. Humanity's Twitter Score is 130 out of 1000 (an Excellent rating) as of September 2026, ranking #4,739 (top 1%) among 486,573 tracked accounts.
Humanity was founded by Terence Kwok and emerged from stealth in February 2023 in collaboration with Animoca Brands and Polygon Labs, launching on Polygon CDK. The protocol is affiliated with the Human Institute and the Humanity Foundation, and counts Yat Siu and Sandeep Nailwal among its Founding Humans.
Humanity announced a $30 million Seed Round in May 2024 led by Kingsway Capital, reaching a $1 billion valuation per the announcement. The round included participation from Blockchain.com, Hashed, Shima Capital, Foresight Ventures, CMCC, Cypher Capital, and Hex Trust.
Humanity's mainnet is live, integrating zkTLS for privacy-preserving credential proofs. The protocol acquired Moongate, a Web3 event infrastructure platform, and is affiliated with Reclaim. The native token $H, with a total supply of 10 billion, is set to launch on major exchanges on June 25, 2025. Humanity has published 6,262 posts on the platform and has been mentioned by 562 accounts a total of 1,852 times.
