Peanut is a self-custodial digital-dollar payments app that lets users send and receive money through links and QR codes without exposing wallet addresses, gas fees, or chain differences. Peanut participated in the LongHashX Accelerator cohort and selected Axelar Network as its cross-chain protocol. The project completed a $1.5 million pre-seed round in February 2025, backed by Blockscout, WalletConnect and Clave Wallet, among others. Co-founder Konrad Urban noted in March 2026 that users had shared Peanut 40,000 times, alongside the launch of a referral-rewards system funded from revenue generated by referred-user activity.
