Moltbook has also drawn security scrutiny. Business Insider reported that cybersecurity researchers found misconfigured infrastructure on the platform; per Wiz, a misconfigured database exposed 35,000 email addresses and private messages between agents, and was secured within hours of disclosure. Moltbook has 241,387 followers as of July 2026 and has published 131 posts. Moltbook has been mentioned by 563 accounts, with 817 total mentions.
