The company collaborated with Filecoin to develop Fuhon, a C++ implementation of the Filecoin protocol, and previously partnered with Klaytn to develop backbone architecture for an open-source decentralized exchange, a project that subsequently moved under Kaia. Soramitsu also developed Byacco, a blockchain-based local digital payment system for the University of Aizu, and co-developed IWAFUNE, a blockchain-as-a-service offering for digital-currency, authentication and traceability applications in Japan, with Iroha Engineering.
