Twin is an onchain infrastructure protocol that issues fully backed local-currency stablecoins and tokenized financial assets for institutional finance. Twin's Twitter Score is 6.6 out of 1000 as of August 2026, ranking #128,625 among 483,944 tracked accounts.
Twin was founded in 2021 under the name Num Finance before rebranding to its current identity. The project was co-founded by Agustin Liserra and Mariano Di Pietrantonio. Its stablecoin suite, including ARGt, BRAt, COLt, MEXt, CHLt, BOLt, and PERt, tracks Latin American currencies and is issued by Twin Finance S.A.S., a Uruguayan entity, while tokenized investment products are issued through Twin Finance Bermuda Ltd.
Twin raised a $1.5M pre-seed round in May 2023, backed by Reserve, H20 Scouter Fund, VC3, Ripio Ventures, and Matias Woloski. The protocol is affiliated with Base and Polygon. In March 2026, Argentina's securities regulator, the CNV, issued a preventive cease order concerning ARGt and subsequently rescinded it.
