The native $VERONA token pays for execution, coordinates access and security, and accrues value from verified network activity. Verona's token model routes network revenue to a Verona Reserve that programmatically acquires $VERONA as part of a burn mechanism, though as of the June 2026 tokenomics post the burn had not yet started.
