WLFI and Justin Sun are involved in active litigation on both sides: Sun filed a lawsuit in April 2026 alleging World Liberty Financial froze his tokens and engaged in extortion-related conduct, claims that are allegations and have not been established as fact; separately, World Liberty Financial filed a defamation lawsuit against Sun in Miami-Dade County, alleging unauthorized token transfers and short-selling, also unproven allegations.
