FTX App is a defunct crypto portfolio and trading app that was formerly affiliated with Blockfolio and the collapsed FTX Trading Ltd. exchange. FTX App's Twitter Score is 186 out of 1000 (an Excellent rating) as of July 2026, ranking #2,838 (top 1%) among 531,432 tracked accounts.
FTX App traces its origins to Blockfolio, a cryptocurrency portfolio tracking app that FTX Trading Ltd. acquired in August 2020 for $150 million, subsequently rebranding it under the FTX App name. The app was also formerly affiliated with FTX US, Alameda Research, and FTX Ventures. Its operations came to an abrupt end when FTX Trading Ltd., FTX US, Alameda Research, and more than 100 affiliated entities filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on November 11, 2022, with Sam Bankman-Fried resigning as CEO and John J. Ray III appointed in his place.
FTX App was caught in the broader collapse triggered by CoinDesk reporting on Alameda Research's exposure to FTT, FTX's native exchange token, which preceded a wave of customer withdrawals and severe market stress in November 2022. Following the bankruptcy filing, an FTX Support Telegram administrator warned users that FTX apps were malware and advised them to delete the applications, while FTX investigated unauthorized withdrawals and suspected hack activity. Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was subsequently convicted of fraud and conspiracy charges and sentenced to 25 years in prison in March 2024. In August 2024, a U.S. court ordered bankrupt FTX to pay $12.7 billion to compensate customers and fraud victims in a CFTC case, and permanently barred FTX from trading, holding, or receiving funds for buying or selling digital assets.
FTX App has published 20,680 posts on the platform and has 229,064 followers as of July 2026. The account has been mentioned by 269 accounts, with 480 total mentions.
