The standard supports EVM networks, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, Tron, TON, Sui, Spark, Filecoin, and XRP Ledger, and interoperates with agent-payment protocols including x402 and MPP by producing signed payment authorizations within wallet-level policy limits.
Open Wallet ships a CLI alongside Node.js and Python SDK bindings, with an interface designed for agent and developer-tool access. The project held the OWS Hackathon on April 3, 2026, drawing more than 600 builders, more than 250 submitted projects, and a $50,000 prize pool. Open Wallet has attracted backing from a broad set of ecosystem participants, including PayPal, OKX, Ripple, TRON, TON Foundation, Solana Foundation, Ethereum Foundation, Base, Polygon, Sui, Filecoin Foundation, LayerZero, Arbitrum, Circle, Virtuals, Dynamic, and others.
